Prize Money

Distribution of Funds - 2009 / 10

The total collected for the 2009/10 season was £580 after 29 people paid £20 each. The money will be shared out as follows...

£232 - 1st Placed Paid Competitor (40%) payable at the end of the 2009/10 season.
£87 - 2nd Placed Paid Competitor (15%) payable at the end of the 2009/10 season.
£29 - 3rd Placed Paid Competitor (5%) payable at the end of the 2009/10 season.

£145 - (25%) will be donated to the Help for Heroes charity.
£87 - (15%) will go towards the running costs of MISA (Paypal fees to be deducted).

There will also be non cash prizes awarded.

Distribution of funds - 2008 / 09

The total collected for the 2008/09 season was £780 after 39 people paid £20 each. Some of the donated money has been paid onto the Lions Trust, some will be used towards the operational costs of MISA (such as web hosting), and the majority of the money will be paid out as prizes to competitors at the end of the season. £312 - 1st Placed Paid Competitor (40%) paid at the end of the 2008/09 season.
£117 - 2nd Placed Paid Competitor (15%) paid at the end of the 2008/09 season.
£39 - 3rd Placed Paid Competitor (5%) paid at the end of the 2008/09 season.

£156 - The Lions Trust (20%) £100 in cheques & £56 via Paypal was paid on or before 12th August 2008.
£156 - Held by Doug Humphris on behalf of MISA (20%) Paypal fees to be deducted.

There was also a non-cash prize awarded to the 4th placed paid competitor.

The Millwall Prediction League 2010 - 2011

Next year the Millwall Prediction League will aim to be bigger and better than ever before hoping to get more money for the winner and even more prizes. We would like to make the league that bit more interesting and exciting too and so we would welcome any ideas for next year's competition. Next year we plan to donate some of the money collected to charity and so we would ask you to also send in ideas of who we should donate this money too.
